Plumbing Service Technician

United Mechanical is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and alterations to commercial and industrial building plumbing/piping systems.

Location: Greater Sacramento

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and balance high rise building pressure issues.

• Troubleshoot and repair booster pump systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair boilers and associated components.

• Understand controls, electrical and mechanical systems.

• Install hot water and heating systems.

Use your strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose plumbing system failures (such as system leaks and stoppages) and repair various plumbing components on a variety of challenging jobs, such as:

• Water closets

• Sanitation systems

• Fire sprinkler piping systems

• Storm drainage systems

• HVAC hydronic systems

Requirements:

• Journeyman level experience with troubleshooting, servicing and repairing plumbing systems (or ability to get Journeyman's card within 6 months)

• Applicable plumbing licenses/certifications (preferred, not required)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Communication and customer service skills

• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
