Plumbing Repair Assistant

As a Repair Assistant in our Plumbing dept for L.A. Hydro Jet & Rooter Services a Helios Commercial Services Company you will be a vital member of our plumbing team, specializing in utilizing jetting equipment for light commercial projects. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain high-pressure water jetting equipment to effectively clear and clean plumbing systems for our commercial clients. Must be commutable to Sun Valley office.

WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:

• Assist the Repair Technician with the scope of work at hand to complete sewer repair jobs. Learn to utilize all necessary tools and equipment to perform sewer repairs.

• Assists with excavation and shoring by digging holes and jackhammering concrete and other hard surfaces. Performs CCTV/location with assistance

• Performs CCTV/location with assistance

• Assists with minor/complex drain/sewer repairs. Operates cable machines, assists with estimates.

• Operates cable machines, assists with estimates.

• Monday thru Friday with some nights and weekends.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• Eager to learn the fundamentals of the role and work hard in a physically taxing atmosphere.

• Previous experience in hands on construction.

• Knowledge of plumbing systems, pipes, drains, and sewer lines.

• Must be able to work weekends

L.A. Hydro-Jet and Rooter Service, a Helios company, determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $18.00/HR plus a production bonus. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
