Vernon, IL location is seeking a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented PLT Uniformity Tech to join our Quality group. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is dependable and accountable.

THE POSITION

1.Alignments of TBM as needed

2.Vector Balancing of TBMs

3.Vector Balancing of Press/Mold systems

4.Set splice arrangements for all tires.

5.Processing of evaluation tires on TUOs and Balancers

6.Component and Machine Waveform builds

7.Uniformity audits

8.Uniformity Problem Investigation work

9.Classified Tire Analysis work

10. Conducting Special Evaluations as assigned

11. Uniformity tech will follow all plant policies, environmental policies, and plant and departmental safety policies.

12. Perform other duties as directed by the Uniformity Manager or Engineer.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates Degree or 5 years experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Microsoft Office experience

• Knowledge of Tire Building

• Knowledge of Vector Analysis Concepts & Waveform Analysis

• Knowledge of TUO, Balancer Operations & Curing Press Operations
