Providence Life Services is currently interviewing for the much anticipated Registry division! The PLS Registry assists in covering internal shifts at PLS facilities.
Compensation starts at $15.50/hr. then increases to $16.00/hr. after a successful three months of employment. Only seeking top CNA candidates, that are passionate about their profession.
Our current need is for ALL SHIFTS at our Providence Downers Grove Campus and Park Place in Elmhurst Campus .Once a part of the Registry Team, you will be able to pick up shifts at other PLS facitlies in the same geographic area.
This position is perfect for candidates seeking 30 hours or less a week!
PLS Registry employees are scheduled on an as needed basis. Although schedules may also be given in advance, the position will require same day coverage if permanent staff members are unavailable.
Summary of essential job functions
Assist residents with ADL's
Take patient vital signs
Make sure resident rooms are kept clean and laundry is done on appropriate days
Assist residents with medication reminders
Assist with meal prep and feeding
Cleaning residents rooms and common areas as needed
Take part in resident activities, or assist them to the event
Answer call lights as needed throughout the shift
Report to nurse on duty throughout the shift and end of day
Other duties as assigned
Must be available to work on an as needed basis, which includes weekends and holidays.
Must be open to 1 day a week minimum.
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and be 18 years of age.
Previous experience working in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing is mandatory.
Must be CNA certified in the state of Illinois.
Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.
