Electric Vehicle Digital Design (EVDD) is responsible for developing the key technologies and capabilities - such as EV platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging and recycling - to create ground-up breakthrough electric vehicles. What you'll be able to do:
In collaboration with Marketing, Engineering, Program Management and all attribute owners, ensure the PLM data accurately captures and aligns with the build variants and configurations, including markets, colors and materials, etc.
Execute change management of multi-level Bills of Material, in close collaboration with all stakeholders
Maintain and update the program Plan of Record, in lock step with change management
Ensure the accuracy of the vehicle Bill of Materials at all times
Provide adhoc training on the change control process to engineers and operations teams
Provide project readiness and checkpoint completion / progress data to program management and leadership teams
Provide support on engineering activities such as part & BOM creation as well as initial BOM releases
Provide input to the Digital Transformation team to ensure sufficient and appropriate digital PLM tools are in place
