PLC Technician

This company is looking for someone to come in and help out for about 6 months - work will essentially be to document the way PLC programs are written. Will interview and start someone quick!

Responsibilities and job duties:

• Work with Electrical Engineer to develop and implement PLC programs for various industrial systems

• Help troubleshoot and debug PLC programs to ensure proper functionality

• Will gain knowledge of PLC programming logic for process controls

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Engineering

• 0-3 years of experience with Allen Bradley PLC's

• Understanding of PLC ladder logic - candidate will write the work instructions for ladder logic programs (Allen Bradley's)

o Won't be developing new programs and will NOT be doing any programming

o Responsible for organizing and documenting the step by step process of the PLC's programs

• Excellent ability to meet deadlines, stay organized and prioritize tasks

• Work with the lead Electrical Engineer (Edwin) to document all PLC programming processes
