Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
Join our team as a Controls Engineer where you will be responsible for the programming, startup, and debug of conveyor systems. You will engage in offline programming using Studio 5000 for PLC and Factory Talk View Studio for HMI, primarily at our office. Your role will involve controlling the conveyance of items on the conveyor by integrating information from the warehouse control system and feedback from various devices. You will also create and manage HMI programs to provide essential system status and diagnostics. Additional programming tasks may include working with languages like C# and using Emulate 3D for testing PLC programs before deployment. This role requires occasional travel to customer sites for system startups and debugging.

This is a fully on-site position in CUDAHY, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
Our team consists of 12 dedicated controls engineers and electrical designers. The position involves up to 20% travel to customer sites, sometimes requiring prolonged stays to ensure systems are up and running smoothly. Work hours are flexible, with options for starting at either 8 am or 7 am. We offer two weeks of vacation, with the possibility of negotiation.
