PLC Programmer

Description:

PLC Programmer will be a member of the electrical maintenance team. The overall purpose of this role is for maintenance, programming ongoing support of PLC operations system and processes. Excellent knowledge of machine mechanics, a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal mentorship. Be able to easily identify and craft a robust program fit for any mechanical or electrical purpose.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer Science or an equivalent combination of validated experience and education

• 3 or more years of controls/PLC programming experience in industrial production environment

• Knowledgeable of NEC and NFPA regulations as it relates electrical safety

• Strong proficiency in Allen Bradley Ladder logic programming for PLC5, SLC500 and ControlLogix

• Knowledge of medium voltage and infrastructure.

• Familiar with Wonder ware

• 10% Travel to sister site in Ohio
