Plc Programmer

Description:

• PLC Programmer will be a member of the electrical maintenance team.

• The overall purpose of this role is for maintenance, programming ongoing support of PLC operations system and processes.

• Excellent knowledge of machine mechanics, a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal mentorship.

• Be able to easily identify and craft a robust program fit for any mechanical or electrical purpose.

Skills:

Electrical engineering, Plc programming, Electrical design, HMI, Schematic, Controls engineering, Allen Bradley PLC, controllogix, Automation, Troubleshooting, Wonderware, Robotics, Electrical, Autocad

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer Science or an equivalent combination of validated experience and education.

• 1-5 years of controls/PLC programming experience in industrial production environment

• Knowledgeable of NEC and NFPA regulations as it relates electrical safety.

• Strong proficiency in Allen Bradley Ladder logic programming for PLC5, SLC500 and ControlLogix

• Knowledge of medium voltage and infrastructure.

• Familiar with Wonder ware

• 10% Travel to sister site in Ohio
