Description:
PLC Programmer will be a member of the electrical maintenance team.
The overall purpose of this role is for maintenance, programming ongoing support of PLC operations system and processes.
Excellent knowledge of machine mechanics, a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal mentorship.
Be able to easily identify and craft a robust program fit for any mechanical or electrical purpose.
Skills:
Electrical engineering, Plc programming, Electrical design, HMI, Schematic, Controls engineering, Allen Bradley PLC, controllogix, Automation, Troubleshooting, Wonderware, Robotics, Electrical, Autocad
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer Science or an equivalent combination of validated experience and education.
1-5 years of controls/PLC programming experience in industrial production environment
Knowledgeable of NEC and NFPA regulations as it relates electrical safety.
Strong proficiency in Allen Bradley Ladder logic programming for PLC5, SLC500 and ControlLogix
Knowledge of medium voltage and infrastructure.
Familiar with Wonder ware
10% Travel to sister site in Ohio
