As a part of the Digital Organization, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Integration Platform Engineer to join our team as we build and enhance our enterprise integration platform. The ideal candidate will have experience with software development and integration technologies. The platform engineer is responsible for designing and developing secure and reliable platform-based system integration solutions using a diverse set of platforms, services, protocols, patterns, and data formats.

What You Will Do

  • As a member of an Agile integration platform product team, you will design and develop secure and reliable system integration solutions using a diverse set of platforms, services, protocols, patterns, and data formats.

  • Implement user stories from the product backlog, prioritizing features and requirements based on business value and impact.

  • Work closely with other developers, engineers, architects, and QA teams to ensure the successful development and delivery of high-quality integration solutions.

  • Apply your strong understanding and hands-on experience with integration technologies such as API, microservices, ETL, message brokers, SOAP, REST, JSON, and XML to build robust solutions.

  • Utilize DevOps practices and tools (e.g., GitLab/GitHub, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD) to ensure a secure and efficient software development life cycle.

  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices related to integration technologies and platforms to continuously improve the solutions you develop.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of software engineering/programming work experience, with strong proficiency in two or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with integration technologies such as API, microservices, ETL, message brokers, SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, and EDI.

  • Proven experience with AWS or Azure (AWS preferred).

  • Demonstrated expertise with DevOps practices, secure software development life cycle, CI/CD, Common DevOps tools (e.g.,GitLab/GitHub, Terraform, Docker).

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working in a digital product-oriented delivery organization.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA.

  • Strong working experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React, Angular.

  • Experience building using iPaaS technologies such as MuleSoft, Confluent Kafka and AWS

  • Knowledge of platform infrastructure, services, security and applications

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
