Description

The Mobile Platform Seller is a creative, solutions-oriented leader who partners with advertisers, frontline field sales, marketing, product, and operations to leverage the full breadth and scale of Oath's tech stack. The individual will own and support regional category/advertiser level accounts and be responsible for selling Oath's mobile platform solutions including display, video, and native and Verizon native-on-device products to major advertisers and agencies. This individual will be instrumental in shaping Oath's mobile strategy, creating new lines of business, and driving mobile sales leveraging Verizon, AOL, and Yahoo's proprietary assets.

Responsibilities:

  • 7-10 years of overall experience

  • Main point of contact for client/agency contacts responsible for programmatic media solutions and technology infrastructure licensing agreements (MSA's)

  • Proactively presents platform-based solutions (DSP Buyer Mobile Display/Video/Native) to decision making teams at clients, agencies, and strategic third party media and technology partners

  • Identifies and qualifies potential DSP and app pre-install partners

  • Presents clients cross-platform solutions to mobile focused RFPs

  • Partners post-sale with Platform Solution leads to help drive activation and adoption

  • Partners with Platform Solutions and Optimization Strategy leads to identify and close up-sell opportunities for existing MSA clients

  • Partners with Platform Client Services leads to drive MSA renewal process

  • Responsible for detailed understanding of the competitive programmatic landscape, mobile app industry, and the interoperability of multiple technology platforms

  • Provides detailed feedback to Product and Technology teams on feature and functionality development needed to capture additional market share

  • Shares programmatic trends and insights, product updates, and case studies with client partners and customers qualifications

  • Extensive experience across mobile display, video, and native

  • Expertise in programmatic and mobile app industry

  • A deep understanding of digital media and consumer behavior

  • Passion for the changing media landscape, self-educated on the trends in consumer behaviors and inventive in ways to reach a targeted audience and maximize performance to hit client KPI's and LTV goals

  • A proven collaborator with the ability to be an effective internal advocate of client needs/market demand, leading cross functional teams to achieve sales results

  • Ability to create and manage strong internal and external relationships

  • Ability to think strategically, understanding marketer needs, and creatively translating these needs into compelling concepts and programs

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Open Demand Buyer Development Account Executive Role Description / Purpose The Oath Open Demand team is looking for a highly-motivated Open Demand Buyer Development Lead to manage senior relationships with Programmatic Channel Partners (Agency Holding Companies/Trading Desks, Agencies & Direct Marketers with DSP seats via programmatic demand) across the US, with a special emphasis on clients based in the East Region. The Open Demand team are at the forefront of the programmatic industry, helping Oath to solidify its position as a technology provider that powers the buying and selling of digital advertising. This role will actively contribute to the industry's exciting and ongoing evolution towards programmatic buying solutions that offer scalable, efficient, and highly targeted means of reaching desired audiences and achieving better ROI. The Buyer Development lead plays a key role in Open Demand by driving revenue from a specific set of customers based in the East region. The BD Lead will directly engage with programmatic buying customers and coordinate ad exchange selling efforts with other internal teams including the Global Agency, US Field/Midmarket Sales, and DSP ATD/CAPS teams. Team / Dept. Mission Maximize revenue and yield for owned and operated and 3rd party publishers utilizing Oath's programmatic Publisher Platforms. Enable Oath to be the monetization partner of choice for publishers across Display, Mobile and Video and the Supply partner of choice for Advertisers and Agencies. Key Accountabilities * Generate revenue towards a defined quota established for a specific set of customers / products / markets or combination thereof * Grow revenue from agency trading desks, networks and direct advertisers on Oath exchanges * Maintain high customer satisfaction with Agencies & Direct Marketers * Cultivate strong relationships while serving as the face of Oath Publisher platforms with each agency's trading desk / programmatic buyers * Collaborate with internal account teams to drive business for direct customers via the exchange * Drive programmatic account planning efforts at the Agency Holding Co and Advertiser level * Use data and analytics and convert them into insights that lead a buyer towards action * Be the Programmatic Expert * Be the subject matter expert on all things relating to Oath Publisher platforms across Display, Video and Mobile for 3P demand, programmatic buying, and the evolution of the business in that direction * Provide critical Voice of the Customer feedback to our product, monetization and US Open Demand management teams to ensure we remain as relevant and competitive as possible * Partner with Oath Demand Platform Sales to identify right engagement opportunities, to ensure revenue is maximized via Oath Demand tools and engage with Partners when 3rd Party demand tools are being used * Participate in a high-performing Open Demand & Publisher Platform team * Drive adoption of PMP partnership opportunities across all supply types * Provide direction and feedback to the Oath Publisher team on supply performance, customer feedback and demand opportunities * Partner with OD Bidder Development & Platform teams to ensure PMPs are effectively merchandized, coordinate customer engagement touchpoints & communicate Buyer impacts of any decisions made at Bidder level Key Success Criteria * Programmatic Revenue achievement & growth * Revenue via PMP/Deal ID * Customer adoption of Oath supply platforms Essential Experience * A deep understanding of the online advertising display space with a focus on exchange and audience-based selling, the tools and technology that enable it, as well as the various intermediaries that sit in between Advertisers and Publishers * Sales and Account Management experience with a solid background in display advertising sales, preferably with minimum 5 years in Digital Media Sales * Experience with partner/channel management, business development and negotiations with executives that may be C-level, SVP or VPs within their organizations * Experience with direct advertiser sales, including negotiations and management of strategic partnerships at senior levels within the marketing division and agency * Proven track record of working with, meeting & exceeding revenue and productivity quotas * Educated to degree level or equivalent preferred Technical/Functional Skills * Fluency in xls., pivot tables and ppt. a must * Strong ability to use data to drive insights and generate buying opportunities; experience with data interpretation as it relates to programmatic buying preferred * Excellent written communication skills, specifically in synthesizing strategy and technical information into a succinct summary Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills * Excellent relationship building skills, customer service orientation, and ability to develop strong working relationships across multiple organizational functions * Analytical mindset * A general curiosity and an ability to troubleshoot issues using a variety of resources Oath is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
