This position of Crane operator is responsible for all
operating function as listed below. Operation of the Crane
unit must be understood in total with the focus of utilizing
the equipment to meet all the quality and productivity goals
as outlined in our quality system. All work instructions must
be followed as outlined.
Listed below are the primary activities which must be learned,
understood and followed according to work instructions.
The process engineer/supervisor/Leaders will monitor each person
and provide any necessary instruction or direction as
necessary during the training period.
1.Make sure all Crane parts are in working order and set
points are correct per work instructions. If necessary make
2.Operation the vacuum crane to remove plate from the line and
any other crane operation in the plate shop.
