Responsible for machine line installations, machine line start-ups and/or corrective start-ups to meet customer requirements. Perform general service work, such as, rebuild, repair, process and/or training.
Work with and assist customers in the installation of equipment in their facility.
Assure finish product meets customers specifications.
Troubleshoot machine issues remotely or at customer facility.
Assemble or rebuild machinery using assembly drawings and schematics.
Install and setup complete mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Install molds, trim tooling and head tooling, both programmed and non-programmed.
Perform general processing for machine set up (set temperatures, time set points, parison weight profile, shot size set points, etc.).
Extensive travel to customer plant locations both domestically and internationally.

Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of machine or plastic processing experience preferred.
Electro, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagram knowledge required.
PLC programming knowledge a plus.

Must have extensive experience with PLCs in programming Allen-Bradley and Siemen.
Need to know:
1. Travel 90-95% USA and Europe
2. Would consider someone who has worked on very large (10 axis or more) CNC machines (Husky, Mitsubishi, Engel...)
3. Needs HEAVY electrical experience
4. Prefers someone who lives on the West Coast; however, anyone near major airport would be considered
