Responsibilities

  • Must have at least 3 year related experience and set up and Operates Plastic Injection Molding Machines and Auxiliary Equipment for production or R&D molds

Provides technical recommendations to improve quality and performance of molds and molding machines

Make necessary adjustments and monitor injection molding machines to produce quality components

Maintain documentation on machine quality out-putInspect plastic parts and work pieces using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, plug gauges

Understand and follow "Operator Instructions" necessary for safe operation of machines

Participate in problem solving process

Participate in "Continuous Improvement Process"Perform minor repairs and call in work orders for maintenance

Store and clean tools properly

Keep work area clean and orderly

VIEW JOBS 2/14/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-14T00:00 Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Molding Operator for 3rd Shift. This role is based out of our South Milwaukee, WI facility. The Molding Operator will be responsible for performing duties necessary to complete the final testing of E-Caps and repair molding defects. The operator is responsible for meeting production goals while adhering to safety and quality guidelines in the use of electrical test equipment and E-Cap molding defect repair. * You will perform electrical tests. * You will load and remove E-Caps from cure oven and repair as needed * You will operate molding press to mold E-Caps and assemble vacuum interrupters. * You will notify department team leader / supervisor of all material and/or equipment deficiencies. * You will contribute suggestions for methods or product improvement. * You will use and operate tools and equipment consistent with this job. * You will adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.
