Job Description

Job Description Job Description Summary Responsible for the accurate and timely sampling, testing, shipping and storage of plasma collected from donors. Job Description 1 In compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), responsible for collecting plasma samples and moving plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality. 2 Ensures plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs, which could include unsuitable plasma units and samples. 3 Ensures accuracy of unit labeling by verifying the pre-printed label matches the dynamic label. 4 Utilizes sterile technique to draw samples and uses heat sealer to assure the sterility and quality of plasma unit samples per SOPs. 5 May ensure samples and units are packed and shipped in accordance with SOPs and center procedures.

Prepares shipping and unit disposal documentation. 6 Monitors freezer and refrigerator temperatures and immediately informs appropriate personnel if equipment is not functioning properly. Records variances. 7 Conducts daily calibration of equipment according to SOPs. 8 Ensures the accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system as outlined in the SOPs. 9 Understands the policies and procedures associated with hyper immune programs at the center if applicable. 10 Maintains clean efficient work environment, and ensures sufficient operating supplies and forms are available as needed. Follows all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.

Promotes safety in all actions. 11 Maintains confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information. 12 May be cross-trained in other areas to meet the needs of the business. 13 Bilingual skills may be required, at the discretion of the organization, to meet the needs of the business. 14 Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Education High school diploma or equivalent required Experience Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be able to perform basic math calculations Working Conditions (physical & mental requirements) Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation. VIEW JOBS 6/9/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-09-07T00:00 JOB SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician position provides a wide range of facilities maintenance and custodial services for the hotel. The ideal candidate must be able to perform detailed mid-level technical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of hotel facilities and equipment independently. Our Maintenance Technicians are required to comply with all OSHA standards and regulations as well as government mandate regulating public safety and security. Regular work attendance which includes flexibility in work schedule that may include afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays. RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to): * Maintains the facility and grounds based on property objectives. * Follows practices for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of all facility equipment, including compliance with health, safety and OSHA programs, policies, procedures, reports. * Responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after-hours on-call maintenance requests. Participates in the on-call rotation with the rest of the Maintenance Team. * Assists with the inspection of public areas and guest rooms to ensure proper maintenance and standards are achieved and sustained. * Follows Westmont Hospitality Group, city, state, federal, and EPA air conditioning and refrigeration record-keeping requirements and procedures are met as to the maintenance, service, repair, and disposal of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and refrigerant. * Follows health department, city, state, and federal procedures, practices and record-keeping requirements applicable to pools and spas are followed to maintain proper water chemistry and sanitation. * Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times. * Participates in HomeTowne Studios training as required. QUALIFICATIONS * 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience * Must have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and basic maintenance skills * Working knowledge of pool service and maintenance required * High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred * Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-12 hour standing shifts * Must be able to work weekends and be available for on-call emergencies * Ability to embody the Westmont Hospitality Group Core Values every day Westmont Hospitality Group Spartanburg SC
