Position Overview

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Assist the Supervisor in the daily operation of the shift, with an emphasis on training and quality improvement. Maintain a working knowledge of all Kuster jobs as may be required to relieve, replace, or assist operating personnel for absences, or unscheduled downtime.

Essential Duties:

• Inspect dyed rolls and maintain required reports

• Work in Formula Control System (FCS) by putting in formulas, extending, closing out orders

• Make new shop orders in VISTA on re-works, split orders

• Assist in finding lost rolls

• Assist with shade matching on carpet by visual inspection

• Line up production by speed groups and color sequencing

• May be required to be on job 30 minutes prior to shift change

• Assist in monitoring operations to ensure a quality product is being produced

• Fill in for supervisor when needed, however, disciplinary action will be handled by Supervisor or Department Manager

• Assist in keeping work areas in a clean, orderly manner

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
