The Supervisor Plant Admin Supportis responsible for providing general supervision of Plant Office Administrators(POAs). This role will be instrumentalin providing training to current and new POAs in addition to providingapplication support. The Supervisor willperiodically conduct plant audits and also serves as an additional person forscale coverage should the need arise.To effectively carry out the responsibilities listed below, a "dotted line"relationship will exist between the Supervisor - Plant Admin Support and the
Plant Office Administrators. Coveragefor vacations and absences as well as training, auditing and applicationssupport will be coordinated by and through the Plant Admin Supervisor. The incumbent will assist Plant Managers withrecruiting and performance management of the POAs.
1.General supervision of Plant Office Administrators ("dottedline" relationship):
The Supervisor assiststhe plant managers with recruiting and performance management of the POAs;responsible for quality of reports generated at plant operations, andresponsible for compliance with corporate and division practices and policies.
2.Training new POAs and providing continuing training to allPOAs:
The Supervisor isresponsible for the initial training of new POAs. The training will be conducted over the firsttwo weeks of the POA's employment, which will include Point-of-Sales application,Equipment Management System, Plant Management Enterprise, KRONOS, procurement,and other plant applications and reports.
As the need arises,ongoing training activities will also be the responsibility of the Supervisors.
3.Region plant responsibility audits:
The Supervisor completes plantaudits that are based on an audit developed by the internal audit and regionpersonnel. The audits will be scheduled at least once every two years at each plantand more frequently, as conditions dictate. The approximate time for each audit and related reports will be twodays.
The Supervisor provides "tier 1" supportfor plant applications. This includes,but is not limited to, the KRONOS application, Equipment Management System, PlantManagement Enterprise, Procurement, and THE APEX system.
5.Coverage for clerical vacations/otherabsences:
The Supervisor coordinates vacations, sickdays, and other absences for POAs and coordinates required coverage.
The Supervisor may also coverfor absences on emergency basis (only) and for other purposes as deemedappropriate.
The Supervisor will undertake other tasksas assigned by the Manager of Plant Admin Support.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Use of telephone, computers, cell phones andother electronic devices is essential.
Must have the ability to use computerizedequipment and technology.
Must be able to effectively manage multiplepriorities simultaneously.
May have to do bending and reaching to filepersonnel folders and other materials.
May involve exposure to conditions of dust,dirt and noise.
REQUIRED EDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE
LevelI- 2-5 years supervisory experience and at least two years generaladministrative/accounting experience.
LevelII- 5-7 years supervisory experience and at least four years generaladministrative/accounting experience.
LevelIII- 7 years supervisory experience and at least six years generaladministrative/accounting experience.
