POSITION INFO:

This position is responsible for handling maintenance of facilities and equipment, including preventive maintenance and the urgent repair needs of the Stuarts Draft facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides counsel to management regarding facility issues.

• Supervises and directs staff to meet production and facility needs inside and out.

• Coordinates and supports various departments to implement continuous improvement changes.

• Evaluate and update job tasks for cross training and task execution improvements.

• Responsible to supervise and/or coordinate snow removal and landscaping.

• Has on-call responsibility to respond to off-hours Building Maintenance

• Keeps building plans and blueprints filed in proper order.

• Tracks facility work projects both unfinished and completed.

• Requests, assembles and analyzes contract bids.

• Oversees contractor repairs as needed.

• Develops and implements computerized preventive maintenance schedules.

• Makes sure all maintenance work areas are clean and organized.

EXPERIENCE:

Extensive experience in maintenance with 4 years minimum in maintenance supervisory experience at a manufacturing company. This role requires very strong Leadership skills in Maintenance Management. One must be very proactive and action oriented relative to reaction to emergencies as well as preventative and predictive maintenance.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree preferred, 5-10 years progressive manufacturing experience and responsibilities preferred.

TRAINING AND SKILLS:

Successful candidates will have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Proven experience as a maintenance manager or other managerial role.
