Plant Quality Manager - Plastics/Polymers

• Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
• Bonus: 10% Performance Bonus
• Relocation: Relocation costs covered if needed

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Quality Manager to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest quality standards in our plant operations, focusing on QA/QC activities and customer claim management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics or polymers and be ready to step into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance/Quality Control: Oversee all plant QA/QC activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Customer Claim Management: Handle customer claims efficiently, identifying quality issues and implementing root cause and corrective action processes.
• Mentorship: Act as a mentor to junior Quality Engineers, providing guidance and support.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Experience as a Plant Quality Manager or a Quality Engineer ready for a management role.
• Background in plastics or polymers, specifically in plastic extrusion, plastic compounding, or related processes.
• ISO 9001 auditor experience.

Desired but Not Required:

• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Certified Quality Lead Auditor.
• BS degree in Polymer/Plastics/Chemical Engineering or a related field.
