CWC Textron is seeking an energetic, dedicated individual to join Muskegon team in the capacity of Full Time Plant Security Guard (2pm-10pm shift). The Plant Security Guard is a key position and responsible for the safety of our plant facilities and grounds. Listed below are some of the responsibilities of this position:

Responsibilities:

  • Practices and promotes safe working habits in compliance with all MIOSHA, Kautex, and CWC Textron safety standards.

  • Perform regular plant and grounds security checks at pre-determined intervals during shift.

  • Maintains work areas in clean and orderly manner.

  • Must have good attention to detail; even when doing repetitive work.

  • Team oriented, multitask oriented.

Requirements

  • Basic Computer knowledge

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Customer Service orientation

  • Ability to work well within a team

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs

  • Physically able to walk, bend, twist and stand repeatedly

I. Position Purpose: Responsible for trouble shooting, maintenance and repair of hydraulically and pneumatically operated machinery II. Position Scope and Responsibilities: * Observe and follow all safety procedures and guidelines when performing work to avoid injury to self and other employees * Read and follow all job related work instructions. * Complete all paperwork and computer input necessary for work orders and preventative maintenance tasks * Rebuild of pneumatic cylinders and valves * Rebuild of hydraulic pumps, cylinders and valves * Responsible for maintenance (except electrical) on air compressors * Maintain all wells, water pumps and emission systems * Trouble shoot and maintain ACS unit * Handle all pipefitting as needed * Housekeeping * Adhere to TS 16949 Work Instructions * Ability to read blue prints, schematic and hydraulic * Maintain Robots/gas systems – flamehardening * Maintain and troubleshoot various equipment in the plant as needed for continuous operation III. Authority: * Report to supervisor any machinery or safety/production issues IV. Position Education, Training and Experience: * Minimum of Two Years of Manufacturing Experience or Similar Experience * High School Diploma or GED * Eight years minimum of practical experience or Journeyman status V.
