Job Summary

We are seeking a PLANT OPERATIONS SUPPORT MANAGERto support our Facilities- Plant Operationsbusiness for 7senior living communities located nationwide. The position willbe based in the mid-west area of the country.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Assists with implementation of of all Morrison faciliitesprogram, including transition schedule, opening activities, and audits

  • Accepts management assignments as assigned by leadership

  • Provides reports on the status of project milestones and controls expenditures within limitations of project budget.

  • Identifies project staffing requirements and coordinates staffing with supporting organization managers and leadership team

  • Coordinates preparation and delivery of project deliverables (equipment, computer, supplies, uniform)

  • Provides status and progress reports to all levels of leadership

  • Assists to ensure compliance with the provisions of client contract

  • Leads all relationship building and interactions between field division managers and Morrison corporate

  • Processes, defines and develops contractual obligations through definition of scope of work for design services and construction proposals

  • Pursues profitability for all projects

  • Supports and assists with approval of final contract terms with service providers i.e. Architects, Engineers. General Contractors and designers

  • Readjusts timelines and resources accordingly to meet project goals

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 year Degree - PREFERRED

  • 5 year proven track record of Management of similar responsibility

  • CHFM Certification or similarcertification

  • Proficient in all microsoft office platforms

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working in skilled nursing environment- REQUIRED

  • Ability to travel extensively as required

Job Responsibilities: * Partners cross-functionally to develop sourcing strategies and select suppliers that can add the greatest value to our operations. * Negotiates local and/or regional supplier agreements, as agreed by the VP Procurement. * Ensures full compliance with local, regional, and/or national supplier agreements. * Identifies supplier issues and opportunities and manages suppliers to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and optimization. * Identifies and implements procurement and supplier best practices across multiple locations, or nationally as appropriate. * Identifies, assesses, and aligns local and regional procurement/purchasing and purchasing-related resources with the Company-wide Procurement initiative, goals and processes. * Working with management, optimizes procurement and procurement-related resources to support achievement of each unit's overall objectives and Total Customer Satisfaction. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree required, with preference for Technical or Business degrees. MBA preferred. * Purchasing Certification (CPM or CPIM) strongly preferred. * A minimum of 8 years related business experience, with at least 3 years experience managing procurement and/or operations functions, required. * Demonstrated success implementing procurement best practices across multiple plants/sites. * Excellent interpersonal, communications and follow-up skills. * Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and build credibility with numerous stakeholders (plant management, operations, marketing, customers, and suppliers) to achieve desired outcomes.
