This position exists to provide for a smooth and efficient operation and the repair of all oil, LP and natural gas heating plants (air, water, or steam) throughout Camp Ripley.
Perform heating plant installation, alteration and maintenance on natural gas fired units and any similar natural gas fired systems.
Perform heating plant installation, alteration, and maintenance on LP gas fired units;
Adjust, repair or replace all LP or natural gas oven controls, burner controls, water heater controls, regulators and any similar gas control systems;
Provide air conditioning service at Camp Ripley.
Provide installation and repair on many types of ventilation,
air handling and cooling systems.
Minimum of 4 years experience working with HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment;
Possess current Universal Refrigeration License
Must obtain current Minnesota Special Boiler's License within 6 months of hire
Must obtain a 410-A Refrigerant License within 6 months of hire.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Two year Technical College HVAC program
Possess a Power-Limited Technician license.
Broad plant maintenance experience involving repair of heating and ventilating equipment as a major focus.
Coursework in steam engineering maintenance or repair (e.g., welding, plumbing, electricity, steam engineering, boiler operation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and steamfitting).
Ability to perform repetitive motions with various types of equipment and tools on a regular basis. This job may require walking or standing to a significant degree on rough terrain or may involve sitting most of the time with pushing and pulling of arm and/or leg controls. Ability to climb and work off ladders. Ability to work in confined spaces with limited room to maneuver.
