Plant Maintenance Technician

Job Description

SUMMARY

Responsible for all plant maintenance including preventative maintenance program for all production and packaging equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain work order system for maintenance

• Monitor and report on equipment condition, failure analysis, estimated life and replacement of all plant equipment.

• Ensure that ALL safety equipment is installed on machines prior to start-up

• Communicate to Production Supervisor when any problems arise that require maintenance

• Train other team members

• Insure all health and safety guidelines are followed

• Any other duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Maintenance background with knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations

• Must be able to read blueprints, create drawings, install, troubleshoot and maintain various automation and measuring devices.

• Knowledge of welding processes and pipe fitting.

• Able to lift 55 lbs or more

• Leadership of 2 or more team members

• Mechanically inclined Problem-solving skills

• Ability to work with others
