We are looking for work personalities that have strong mechanical/electrical aptitudes, strong work ethics and proven safety records. Candidate must have a strong mix of both mechanical and electrical experience -- and mindset to go where the problem is, trouble-shoot it, and find the tools to repair it.


Essential Maintenance Job Functions:

  • Repair all production equipment and plant equipment.
  • Execute line and equipment changeovers.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems during production.
  • Promote teamwork by talking it out, brainstorming, using your experience and learning from each other.



  • Requires a high school diploma, or GED, and 1-2 years of relative applicable experience.
  • Prior experience with high-speed packaging, processing, or other manufacturing equipment.
  • Analytical problem solving capabilities.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to "change gears" often.
  • Proven ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone.
  • Requires strong technical ability, able to take basic electrical and mechanical principles and apply to hands on situations.

VIEW JOBS 11/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-10T00:00 Responsible for performing a variety of routine tasks in the movement and processing of hazardous and non-hazardous materials including disassembly, sorting, packing, re-packing, and loading and unloading. Operates equipment such as lamp processors, distillation ovens, pallet trucks, forklifts, bailers, compactors, air compressors, and hand tools.Work is performed in a warehouse/plant environment and involves occasional exposure to weather. Assist with the off-loading of vehicles delivering lamps and other universal waste. Sorting and packaging universal waste batteries and non - TSCA lamp ballast. Sorting and preparing lamps for processing. Prepares packaging for shipment. Cleans area as require and completes all required paperwork on a daily basis. Overtime will vary according to volume of incoming material. * Maintains a safe and compliant work environment at all times. Works safely and wears appropriate PPE for task. * Complies with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. * Loads and unloads various materials such as pallets, totes, drums, etc. * Constructs packaging/boxes/containers and prepares for shipment. * Uses a variety of hand tools such as impact wrenches, drum carts, and saws. * Moves material within the facility using appropriate equipment such as hand trucks, pallet trucks, forklifts, etc. * Dismantles/sorts materials for recycling/disposal. Process fluorescent lamps and mercury contaminated material in recycling equipment. * Operates and performs routine inspections on recycling equipment. * Prepares by-product materials for shipment. * Assists in completing paperwork for processing/transportation of materials. * Performs general housekeeping duties and maintains a clean, organized and safe work area. * High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. * One-year experience in warehouse environment. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules or standard operating procedures. * Ability to perform basic mathematics * Previous experience in waste recycling is helpful, but not necessary. * Mechanical aptitude is beneficial * Must be forklift certified or acquire certification.
