Wieland is hiring a Plant Maintenance Mechanic. The Plant Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for being a part of a team that maintains and manages the processing equipment we use in our business operations. You will inspect, trouble shoot, diagnose and preform repairs, preventative maintenance and safety inspections on our plant equipment. This role is located in Granite City, IL and will be fully on-site.

Schedule: M-F 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

Responsibilities

Plant Maintnenace Mechanic Responsibilities:

• You will inspect, trouble shoot, preform repairs and preventative maintenance daily.

• Complete service reports electronically in our Equipment Asset Management (EAM) system

• Work within a team environment to accomplish uptime goals and budget targets

• We will provide additional training if you have the desire and initiative to learn

Plant Maintnenace Mechanic Qualifications:

• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems

• Experience maintaining Industrial Equipment

• Ability to effectively communicate to teammates and leader.

• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to OSHA

• Ability to perform manual work requiring periods of physical exertion and exposure to inside and outside weather conditions.

• Sufficient education to read documents and/or written directives, make appropriate arithmetic equations and complete written documentation.

• Valid Driver's License with insurance
