Our FCM Division is looking for a Plant Engineering Manager for its Manufacturing site at Dexter, Missouri.

The Plant Engineering Manager is in charge of managing all ME (Manufacturing Engineering) resources within his/her organization. The main missions of the role are to:

Manage processes and people in order to:

  • Ensure that series production meets customer requirements

  • Support to the continuous improvement process

  • Ensure the plant readiness to launch successful new programs

  • Manage and report key ME indicators

Series production:

  • Procurement of manufacturing equipment under consideration of demanded security, quality and environmental protection and their preservation

  • Equipment and tooling follow-up

  • Support the engineering change management process

  • Update manufacturing routines and work instructions

  • Keep processes (machines, tools, procedures) at best possible level in compliance with HSE regulations and QCD

  • Build the engineering budget and the plant CAPEX; and ensure their application

  • Management of the plant central maintenance

  • Monitor capacity utilization

  • Keep plant lay-out updated

  • Plan, monitor and coordinate the work of external companies

  • Create and introduce procedures regarding the tasks of his field of responsibility

  • Support problem solving initiatives

  • Participate to the plant PDP

Continuous improvement process:

  • Support the continuous improvement process in following:

  • Labor,

  • Quality,

  • Equipment and tooling,

  • Space,

  • Work conditions

Plant readiness to launch new programs:

  • Participate in the definition of the production process and selection of machines and equipments

  • Define plant layout to support new products launch in line with MIFA

  • Lead the installation process of new machines and equipments

  • Support production in the start of new processes to ensure a successful SOP (initial samples, run @ rate, work instructions)

People Management:

  • Staff, train coach, assess and develop the plant ME team (direct or dotted line)
  • Support and train other networks/functions (PSE, QSE)
  • Participation in the management of the expertise network (knowledge capitalization)

Reporting:

  • Manage ME key indicators (TRS: change over, cycle time, reliability)

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or applicable work experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in Production are, including one position in Manufacturing Engineering

  • Program Management System experience

  • Basic financial skills (costing, budget, investment)

  • Leadership skills

  • Strong communication skills, ability to interface with other functions - Network capabilities

  • International mindset

  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)

Our Interiors Division is looking for a Plant Quality Engineer to be based at its Blue Springs, MO location. The Plant Quality Specialist is responsible for providing the coaching and leadership to ensure the application of the quality assurance system to meet customer requirements. The main responsibilities of the role are to: * Perform the role of the Customer within the plant. * Coach and train the operator/GAP leaders/supervisors on the quality principles of Faurecia and Customer specifics. * Champion QSE activities and coach plant personnel. * Manage ISO TS16949/IATF and FES through the FCP's. * Manage continuous improvement activities. * Stop Customer shipments of nonconforming product. * Responsible for presenting, in conjunction with the Program Quality Leader, the initial customer PPAP for all parts produced within Faurecia (Re-PPAP of engineering changes/process changes/in-sourcing). * Update documentation to support engineering changes. * Update and maintain all quality documentation including, but not limited to, the control plan. Support PFMEA updates with the plant Process Engineer. * Manage the Customer Liaisons, where applicable and give feedback concerns to the plant via PTEPS into QSS (review and monitor complaint status until closure). * Ensure customer/internal complaints are adequately answered, on time, and using FIS problem solving methodology (QRQC, Quality Walls, etc.) with active participation from production personnel. * Communicate warranty claims to plant engineering and follow-up with the plant's action plans for the claims. * Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the Company. * Access and give feedback to customer concerns through the customer-specific portals. * Update and manage all internal/external complaints related to the product. * Perform all responsibilities with ISO TS16949/IATF system requirements The ideal candidate will have/be: * Bachelors degree in Engineering * Minimum of three (3) years in an industrial environment, preferred automotive supplier * Proven competency in Control Plans, D/PFMEA's, QFD, Process Audits, ISO TS16949/IATF, Key Characteristic Management, 8D/Corrective Action skills, APQP, MSA, SPC and PPAP. * Experience with OEM specific quality requirements. * Results oriented with strong written and oral communication skills. * Strong customer satisfaction orientation. * Basic skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Work, Outlook, Powerpoint). * Ability to work in a matrix organization. * Bilingual (English required) Faurecia Interior Systems Jefferson City MO
