Plant Engineer (Level 3)

Plant Engineer (Level 3) Juliette. GA System One is currently seeking a Plant Engineer (level 3) on a 9 month contract position located in Juliette, GA.

Plant Engineer Responsibilities: Responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems. Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications.

Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages. Create a safe work environment by putting safety first, understand the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance.

Understand the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance.

Understand design practices and work processes, using all software applications used in design. Understand industry and Company design standards. Support design standard and criteria development for the system.

Support construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations. Estimate material for projects. Transmit construction packages.

Plant Engineer Requirements: 7-10 years of related experience An accredited bachelor’s degree. Introductory engineering knowledge Basic problem-solving skills Limited discretion making independent decisions based on procedure and review with supervisor Basic discipline software knowledge Strong work ethic Positive attitude The ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.

Duration: 9 months Location: Juliette, GA Pay Rate: $51/hr
