Duties and Responsibilities:
Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial components such as motors, variable AC drives, PLC's, servos, sensors and switches.
Preventive Maintenance of facilities and equipment on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, addressing potential issues before they escalate.
Apply deep understanding of troubleshooting to diagnose and repair problems in complex precision electromechanical machinery.
Schedule and interface with 3rd party vendors as required.
Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical and electronic circuits for various components of a high-precision manufacturing facility including, but not limited to: building management and control systems, CNC and support equipment, telephone and computer network equipment.
Assist with mechanical repairs as required including, but not limited to troubleshooting systems and general mechanical repairs
We are looking for candidates who:
Have 3 or more years of experience as an electrical maintenance technician or field service engineer
Can demonstrate experience diagnosing and trouble shooting electrical circuits in manufacturing equipment. (Experience in repair or operation of CNC machine tools is a plus)
Have experience with PLC programing and troubleshooting including ladder logic
Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, ladder and schematic diagrams and general instructions to plan and layout test and repair procedures.
Have knowledge of standard safety regulations.
Can troubleshoot and implement board-level repairs.
Have excellent communication, teamwork skills, high attention to detail and are organized.
Maintain a valid drivers license.
Can lift 50 pounds intermittently. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing during the shift.
Are able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights.
Education and Qualifications:
Journeyman or higher electrical license
GED or High School Diploma
