Responsible for the controlling and accounting functions of the Company related to all aspects of the manufacturing and sale of products and their respective administrative support activities.
Establishes and maintains the Company's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives.
Provides a financial support to the Company management for target setting and action plan definition and monitoring.
Ensures the reliability of the company accounting system to Corporate and the rest of the Stakeholders (auditors and local Authorities).
Prepares financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to top management.
Manages execution of projects that we as a management team deem to be of the highest priority.
Forecasts income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements are forecast in increasing levels of detail on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Drives the business toward lower inventory and accounts receivable and higher accounts payable and sales.
Leads and directs the work of others.
Attend and coordinate Management and Company meetings, including monthly Business Reviews.
Build an effective relationship with Corporate, providing timely answers and proposing added-value improvements.
Prepare financial statements based on local as well as international accounting principles, in compliance with statutory requirements.
Prepare and provide to Corporate monthly financial reports based on the Group accounting principles using the internal tools (SAP/HFM).
Prepare tax and legal reporting and comply with fiscal duties (supported by local consultant).
Establish planning and control systems and processes to deliver timely and accurate management accounts to support internal decision-making, with a focus on profitability, cash, working capital, cost and waste reduction.
Plan and set targets for the business, including financial and non-financial measures. Support Management in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and other ad-hoc analysis.
Provide a complete Sales reporting set, analyzing variances between planned and actual sales, contribution margins and indirect costs at Business Area/Client/Product level.
Provide a complete set of reporting on Industrial Operations, analyzing variances between planned and actual production costs at Plant and Product Line level.
Provide complete Responsibility reporting analyzing variances between planned and actual costs at Cost Center level.
Take care of financial auditing, risk analysis and cash control, ensuring a culture of compliance. Make Company Accounting reliable, auditable and careful of the risk factors.
Analyze procedures to be implemented into ERP or Reporting system. Contact Corporate in case of change requests.
Manage local treasury and bank operations.
Make Company's finance organization a choice for the best financial professionals.
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires at least 10 years related experience, preferred in a manufacturing/service/distribution environment.
Experience in auditing company preferred or current Auditor Certification (CPA).
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, technical accounting and internal controls, especially related to financial reporting.
Knowledge of cost accounting and industrial control.
Knowledge of accounting analysis and balance sheet ratio analysis.
Competences in analysis concerning Profit and Loss margins, direct and indirect costs, relationship between volume-price-profits.
Knowledge of ERP Systems (preferred SAP), Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting and analysis systems (preferred SAP BW and Oracle HFM).
