Plant Controller

Our client, a manufacturing company in the Holland/Zeeland area is looking for a Controller This is an opportunity to join a global organization and manage the accounting/finance functions for an exciting manufacturing plant. Relocation assistance is available for out-of-area candidates Position Responsibilities:

Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions Lead a small accounting team Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results. Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements. Provide management with financial data and forecasting vital to the decision-making process.

Manage the overall budget. Cost accounting Continuous improvement Internal controls and audit Assess current accounting operations, offer recommendations for improvement and lead implementation of new processes. Evaluate accounting and internal control systems.

Evaluate the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed. Develop and monitor business performance metrics. Oversee regulatory reporting.

Hire, train and retain skilled accounting staff. Requirements: Must have:10 years of accounting/finance experience 5 years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing plant 2years of leadership experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Similar titles encouraged to apply: Plant Controller Accounting Manager
