Plant Accountant

Job Description:

• Enter milk tickets daily

• Scan and send milk tickets to membership team

• Enter bulk sales sheets daily

• Scan and send bulk sales to proper contacts for billing purposes when shipped

• Enter daily fluid inventory

• Butterfat analysis reporting

• Mid-month and month-end inbound raw material and bulk sales balancing with membership team

• Balance raw milk, bulk sales, butterfat's and inventory monthly with corporate cost accounting

• Monitor AP Smart software to ensure accounts are up to date

• Reconcile account statements

• Communicate directly with suppliers for questions on their account

• Concentration factor reporting

• Reconcile and finalize job closings daily

• Directly assist supervisors with material issues to maintain a good inventory

• KPI weekly scorecard updating

• Inventory adjustments

• Assist with month end write off adjustments

• Keep an inventory of office supplies and place orders as necessary

• Tracking of natural gas, electricity, and waste water monthly

• Provide back up for lead cost accountant

• Back up the front desk with answering the door, having outworkers fill out contractor test, and contacting the proper department to escort them training, maintaining uniforms

Qualifications:

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook.

• Must possess ability to work individually and stay on task, but also work as a team

• Must be able to meet deadlines

• Demonstrates good organizational skills

• Must be detail oriented and possess excellent communication and analytical skills.

• Associates degree and/or 3 years in a related field is required.

Pay: $23-$25/hr.*

Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
