What you'll do on a typical day:
Employ contemporary demand planning processes, utilizing tools and applications to deliver reliable projections of forward demand requirements
Ensure consistent, uniform and thorough execution of forecasting activities
Assist manager in selecting data that measures performance against established standards and organizational expectations
Analyze data, formulate conclusions and recommend appropriate actions to meet/exceed performance standards and expectations
Investigate and resolve urgent or complex systems or scheduling issues by taking or recommending appropriate corrective action
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
2 years of managerial/supervisory experience
2 years of experience with complex demand planning activities
Working knowledge of statistical methods, mathematical techniques and related analytical tools, including forecasting and projections
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
It'd be great if you also have:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
Resource and project management experience
This job requires the ability to:
Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
