NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Planning and Scheduling Specialist to join our team in Quincy, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).


  • Responsible for reviewing multiple Work Queues to ensure that work items are being completed on time and correctly.

  • Coordinate both inbound and outbound work items to ensure they are routed to the correct work queues within Service Line Agreement timeframes.

  • Validate incoming provider inquiries received via electronic mail, the Post Office, or Fax are logged and monitored from date of receipt to completion.

  • Provide direction for data research utilizing a variety of applications and online resources to ensure requested data updates are handled appropriately.

  • Assist junior team members providing guidance to ensure that database entries are complete and accurate.

  • Review work in progress to address questions, verify accuracy, and prevent delays in processing.

  • Interact with other business colleagues to resolve provider-related issues, particularly with Provider Relations, Provider Contracting, Credentialing, and Claims Services.

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.


  • Self-motivated, flexible, and responsive to changes in priorities and deadlines to support business needs.

  • Exceptional research, problem solving, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of healthcare processes, insurance products, policies, and procedures.


  • 2 3 years of related experience and knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within healthcare.

  • Business to business customer service experience helpful.


  • High School diploma required.

  • Associates degree or higher preferred.

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our organization as Assoc Employer Services Spec. The Assoc Employer Services Spec receives, resolves and/or triages front-line inquiries related to enrollment billing, claims and benefits questions from Employers, Brokers and Third Party Administers (TPA). Acts as a resource and liaison to other departments within HPHC to facilitate resolution on operational issues for enrollment, billing, claims and benefits. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: * Receives, resolves or triages all inquiries, issues and requests for information specific to the enrollment, billing claims and benefits received from Employers, Brokers & TPAs. Initiates, develops and maintains strong employer relationships. Recommends action plan if issues are identified or triages the issue to the appropriate department. * Tracks and records all account and customer contact through Oracle XRM Contact Management System. Ensures thorough research, follow-up and resolution of all issues, to avoid repeat calls. * Authorizes or coordinates approvals and denials of questionable or exception transaction requests received from employer groups or other external customers based on HPHC guidelines and in scope of responsibility. * Coordinates Urgent Enrollment and resolutions of enrollment discrepancies (e.g. failed transactions), * Ensures new employer groups, enrollments and changes are set-up, processed and entered into the system in a timely manner by educating employers on Enrollment options, requirements and processing time frames. Reaches out to new accounts to perform introductory call and educates Employers about online options; HPHConnect, Online Billing & information available on the Public Web. * Monitors contractual agreements and performance guarantees with accounts to ensure compliance. * Provides reporting (e.g., Schedule A) and documentation as requested to accounts. * Fosters cross-departmental collaboration/coordination to achieve department and service level goals. * Coordinates Out-of-Area, handicap and student processes. * Perform out-of-the-box thinking, collaborate with others, and make a difference every day! * Other duties and projects as assigned.
