Planning And Inventory Controller

What's the Role:

You will report directly to the Supervisor, actively promoting safety in all aspects of the role. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer requirements, expediting materials from both internal and external suppliers, and collaborating with the Production Planner to schedule and meet Key Performance Indicators.

You will be an all-rounder and will be monitoring raw material levels, ordering requirements, and managing inventory to agreed levels will be essential to ensure a smooth production process.

You will have detailed knowledge of quality control systems for overseeing production throughout, taking necessary actions to maintain the production plan, managing dispatch, and ticketing for timely deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of manufacturing data within the UNIBIS system.

You will have proven ability to drive change and contribute to creating an environment of continuous improvement, and effective communication within the team, between departments, and with external supply contractors.

Key Technical Criteria:

• Metal Trade / Engineering / Manufacturing qualifications.

• Experience in a Planning role within the heavy manufacturing environment

• Experience with materials movements and transactions in a manufacturing environment

• Purchasing & high-volume vendor management experience

This role is based in Bassendean.
