Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products Division is currently looking to add a Planner/Shutdown Coordinator to our Broadway Mill located in Green Bay, WI in our Converting Department. As a Planner/Shutdown Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient maintenance operations within Towel Converting, while prioritizing safety, risk management, and proactive planning. In addition to this, the Planner/Shutdown Coordinator works closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Reliability Engineers, Project Engineers, Coaches, Operating Technicians, and Maintenance resources in troubleshooting and planning upgrades/repairs to equipment.

The Green Bay Broadway Mill manufactures and distributes leading commercial and retail brands of paper products (bath tissue, napkins, and towels). The mill has about 1,725 mill employees and about 600 business support employees who provide engineering, transportation, data processing, and customer services. What You Will Do

  • Utilizing SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan, coordinate, schedule work across Towel Converting including

  • Parts, Materials, Information and Resourcing

  • On the floor researching when necessary

  • Utilizing OEM Manuals and/or other resources

  • Developing and attaching job plans to work orders

  • Engaging in the safety culture and being a leader in risk management by prioritizing corrective work based on risk and creating work plans focused on adequate safety controls to perform tasks.

  • Ensuring maintenance work is planned in a proactive method by ensuring all activities are appropriately scoped, estimated, resourced, and in ready status prior to start of work

  • Creating and Modifying PM Work Orders, including documentation and develop procedures to be attached to the work orders

  • Updating Bill of Materials in system to reflect latest information or updated part numbers

  • Obtain quotes for contractor work & manage contractors as needed

  • Planning and executing scheduled shutdowns

  • Supporting maintenance crews and contractors to improve work plans

  • Assisting Operational Tech PPRs as a resource

  • Coordinating scheduling and resourcing of Operations and Maintenance Work

  • Reviewing maintenance work order completions for thoroughness and coaching task performers if any follow-up needed

  • Participate in developing/improving asset strategies

  • Assisting with simple maintenance and operational tasks as required

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • A minimum of two (2) years or more of experience in a manufacturing

  • Experience troubleshooting issues

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience as a Maintenance Scheduler or Planner in an industrial environment

  • Experience with SAP work management system

  • Experience within Green Bay Operations

  • Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) (such as MP2, SAP or JDE)

  • Experience as a maintenance or outage planner within manufacturing facility

  • Experience with Microsoft Project
