JOB SUMMARY:

Manages the planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the plant. Procures all materials, secure available manpower and schedule activities in accordance with Entergy's maintenance management process to maintain all RMP goals. Maintains store room inventory and manages associated plant budgets. Performs long range planning for outage maintenance tasks and auxiliary outage projects and develops integrated outage schedules for all outage tasks. Performs contract management activities to support auxiliary outage work. Ensures all work is completed in accordance with Entergy procedures and within compliance guidelines.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs all maintenance planning activities to ensure correct materials and manpower resources are available to support preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and fault finding activities prior to them being scheduled

  • Manages, prioritizes and schedules all maintenance activities at the plant

  • Builds weekly maintenance schedules, manages the maintenance backlog and identifies any emergency break-in work that requires immediate attention

  • Maintains the work maintenance system (AIMM) for the plant

  • Ensures all outstanding work is documented with a current work request detailing the required scope of work

  • Ensures all completed work requests are closed out showing a detailed description of work completed and man hours logged against each task

  • Manages all day to day storeroom activities

  • Monitors and maintains inventory levels and supports all audits and statistical inventory counts in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley rulings

  • Performs long range planning for outage preventive/corrective maintenance task and for auxiliary outage projects

  • Develops outage work schedules and manages all contracts, contractors and budgets associated with this work

  • Manages multiple annual maintenance contracts for the plant

  • Schedules contractors to perform work and manages all associated budgets

  • Manages the plant VRC process to secure resources for outage support

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience

  • Office environment with minimal physical requirements

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Provides maintenance and operation training services to Power Generation personnel, trains new personnel, and solicits and responds to trainee needs. Training services include development of training courses, teaching courses, communicating with customers to define and prioritize their needs, developing plans and initiatives to meet customers' needs. Develops and teaches simulator training on all types of units. May also be involved in curriculum development and /or technical writing projects, depending upon role assignment within team. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Work with customers to determine needs and priorities and develop plans and initiatives to meet customer needs related to maintenance, operations, and other technical training for the Power Generation organization * Research and analyze operational, maintenance, and other technical training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultations with managers, instructors, or customer representatives * Conduct needs and strategic learning assessments to develop the basis for new curriculum development or for updating existing curricula for Power Generation operations, maintenance, and other technical personnel * Oversee, schedule, deliver, teach and/or facilitate training courses, including simulator training on all types of units * Develops and edits classroom training materials and provides input into overall training content in order to provide the most relevant training to meet the training needs * Solicits and responds to feedback regarding content, delivery, training department processes etc. related to training delivery * Applies evaluation models (such as Kirkpatrick's model of evaluation) to assure highest level of training effectiveness and analyzes existing training delivery to determine the appropriate method for future delivery * Develop or update training courses and certification processes for new and existing operations, maintenance, and other technical personnel in Power Generation * Applies A.D.D.I.E. or other development models as required for all course development / maintenance projects, and maintains course history information * Converts traditional classroom-based learning content to other delivery systems, such as mobile or eLearning delivery when appropriate * Actively solicits feedback on programs and updates as needed; improves, training initiatives to improve training (learning) effectiveness * May be involved with collaborating with business partners to review and update Operating Procedures, Maintenance Procedures, and other documents as requested; also to develop and manage a technical documentation plan for each project outlining deliverables, due dates, and launch requirements * Obtains technical reviews from content owners and ensures the accuracy of revisions to provide customers with the highest quality technical materials * Participates in continuous improvement of technical writing processes and systems (e.g., content management) to ensure quality, compliance, and reliability of technical publications. * Work with a minimum of supervision to complete all work on schedule and budget * Serve as the liaison between the training department and the in-plant training teams MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education: * High school diploma required, or equivalent work experience * Desired: Minimum of a B.S.
