BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY The Planner Scheduler applies knowledge and skills to plan and coordinate all maintenance work needed for the Business Unit, including the planning and execution of all surface equipment in the asset. They collaborate with the DSC and Production teams to synchronize activities and avoid maintenance downtime, document all maintenance activities in the system, follow up completion of jobs with the vendor and ensure EHS compliance.

EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE Must have at least 2 years in Oil and Gas, preferably construction or lease operations

Sets up maintenance plans (procedures and schedules) for new or moved equipment
Set-up maintenance plan and schedule
Receives/prepares SAP PM notification/prepares work order/ensures invoice aligns with cost estimate for minor subsurface well maintenance limited to non-BOPE jobs (i.e. swab, slickline, plunger maintenance, hot oil/water, regulatory, routine testing, batch/chemical/scale jobs, long stroke/respace, cap string inspection, fluid levels, dynamometer.
Ensures the invoice aligns with cost estimate and job is closed
Receives/prepares SAP PM notification/prepares work order
Ensures the invoice aligns with cost estimate
Provides technical services team maintenance schedules based on maintenance plans
Provides technical services team maintenance schedules for assets covered by maintenance plans

Oil and Gas Industry Experience Preferred
Practice safe work habits at all times
Demonstrate commitment to Devon Attributes
Strong knowledge of PC/mainframe systems, spreadsheet, and/or database application software.
Developed computer skills with industry specific software as well as Microsoft products
Strong math and science skills
Familiarity with drilling/production processes and terminology
Able to travel as required

The Field Services Coordinator coordinate, audit, and control the activities of assigned site contractors and any assigned projects. Monitor and enforce contractor compliance to all refinery safety and environmental regulations. Provide daily supervision and monitoring of assigned contractors working in the refinery and ensure that activities are performed in a safe, environmentally sound, productive, and professional manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. Involved in all aspects of large contract negotiation and execution, including bid packages. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential as defined by ADA) * Oversees contractor activities, ensures contractors are completing projects on schedule; controls spending on projects, including making material requisitions, writing purchase requisitions, submitting change orders, reviewing timesheets, tracking expenditures based on priorities provided by management * Solicits input from other department representatives, planners and engineers, area business team, maintenance, inspection and engineering within the daily and weekly maintenance schedules to develop contract and project work plans and ensure contractors execute the plan safely, effectively and productively * Resolves any field problems which prevent contractors from completing work on time and on budget. * Ensure that the contractors comply with all contract responsibilities, including scope deliverables, specification and code compliances, quality control and assurance, training, testing, documentation, as built, clean up and punch list completion * Performs safety audits and ensure contractors meet all safety and OEMS requirements * Participates in all necessary PSM activities such as MOCs and PSSRs * Leads and follows all HES action items as assigned * Participates in necessary contractor negotiations ensuring all contractor refinery work performance aspects are identified * Executes contracts/SPO's meeting all contract management requirements and guidelines * Provides management with regular updates regarding contractor activities and communicates progress and problems in a timely manner * Perform constructability reviews * Understand project cost estimates, manage field change orders * Ability to assist in cost development and manage change orders Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion. Experience: A minimum of five years in refinery maintenance background, estimating, materials management, project controls or sufficient experience in the Petrochemical and/or Refinery Industry providing necessary technical base to perform job description is required. EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and previous supervisory experience is preferred. REQUIRED SKILLS: Good negotiation, written and oral communication skills, and computer skills (including but not limited to: Excel, Power Point, Word, Auto Cad, and Microsoft Office). Working knowledge of refinery operations. Maintenance craft and building trades jurisdiction (i.e. pipefitting, boiler making, electrician) knowledge. Ability to multi-task. Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication. Intermediate reading and writing skills, with the ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations. SUPERVISORY/MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise up to 40 contractors on project by project basis WORK CONDITIONS: Office based with up to 5% travel by land and air required. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, and out-of-doors environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, and working in confined spaces. Required to respond to plant related emergencies and be available after hours during critical business situations and perform on-call duties. Subject to all temperatures, weather and varying road conditions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping, lifting and/or carrying up to 20lbs, pushing and/or pulling up to 20lbs, climbing up to 30ft, ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is essential, valid state driver's license and proof of insurance required, perceiving color differences, and ability to wear personal protective equipment (beards not permitted).
