Position Responsibilities
May include;
Prepare monthly and weekly production plan by model for assigned product class.
Prepare weekly and monthly SKU production plans
Maintain inventory levels at the distribution warehouse based on established lead times while managing within approved budget.
Review and incorporate monthly sales forecast by model for assigned product class.
Maintain working relationship with manufacturing, sales planning and other disciplines to optimize efficiency and ensure smooth product flow to the customer.
Manage phase-in and phase-out of new product introductions and transitions.
Analyze large amounts of sales and inventory data to make proficient production decisions at the SKU level.
Communicate across all business disciplines both verbally and written.
Gather, compile and analyze data from various sources.
Assist in annual planning and preparation of tools.
Maintain production forecasting tool (MPSP) each week for a rolling 8 weeks to ensure vendor forecasts and financial CIP planning are up-to-date.
Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs.
PRODUCTION PLANNER LEVEL 2 & 3 - In addition to above
Perform monthly updates in Anaplan
Perform required analysis as directed
Perform automation of reporting in Tableau
Create tools independently using SQL and Access programming

Knowledge and Skills
Advanced Excel & Access skills -required and SQL, Tableau, or Anaplan experience is a plus
Strong analytical, quantitative & problem solving skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include listening and questioning skills
Effective organizational & time management skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to be a strong team player & build positive work relationships
