The Planner supports the sales, inventory and operations planning function for Meggitt's Customer Services & Support division globally. Will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to maximize revenue, improve cash flow, and optimize profitability.
Job Core Responsibilities
Develop and support monthly reporting and design Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will be used to provide insight into operations and indicators of future performance
Implement company standard templates aligned with the Meggitt Production System (MPS)
Facilitate and consult with individuals and teams in order to implement process improvements
Analyze inventory and sales metrics and identify improvement opportunities
Work closely with suppliers and other external stakeholders to provide forecasts and improve communications
Design and prepare ad-hoc reports on supply chain and operations performance
Support projects and special duties as required
Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years' Experience: 2-3 years of planning experience
Highly analytical with excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access skills
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking
Possess a working knowledge of the aerospace industry and the drivers of performance
Prioritize work appropriately and maintains a sense of urgency and follow through
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision in order to meet deadlines
