Job Designation

The Planner supports the sales, inventory and operations planning function for Meggitt's Customer Services & Support division globally. Will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to maximize revenue, improve cash flow, and optimize profitability.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and support monthly reporting and design Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will be used to provide insight into operations and indicators of future performance

  • Implement company standard templates aligned with the Meggitt Production System (MPS)

  • Facilitate and consult with individuals and teams in order to implement process improvements

  • Analyze inventory and sales metrics and identify improvement opportunities

  • Work closely with suppliers and other external stakeholders to provide forecasts and improve communications

  • Design and prepare ad-hoc reports on supply chain and operations performance

  • Support projects and special duties as required

Job Specifications

Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations

Years' Experience: 2-3 years of planning experience

Skills:

  • Highly analytical with excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access skills

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking

  • Possess a working knowledge of the aerospace industry and the drivers of performance

  • Prioritize work appropriately and maintains a sense of urgency and follow through

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision in order to meet deadlines

Desired Skills:

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Quantum, or JD Edwards)
  • Familiar with data warehouses, OLAP databases, and basic SQL
  • Experience with, and a commitment to, continuous improvement and a strong knowledge of its tools
