The Planner - Direct to Consumer will be responsible for managing planning activities for Digital Channel. Building Sales and Inventory plans by Categories, Managing Open to Buys and Monitoring business trends to ensure financial goals are achieved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the marketing and merchandising team to achieve financial targets

  • Manage the planning calendar

  • Build and monitor merchandise forecast and ladders

  • Present weekly/monthly assortment reviews with adjustments and recommendations

  • Work closely with IT to develop solid merchandise reporting

  • Evaluate product performance and report on trends

  • Perform analysis of historical and current data to inform strategic recommendations

  • Manage E-commerce inventory integration

  • Assist with online merchandising strategies and execution.

  • Analyze business performance and develop forward looking strategies that support key business objectives

  • Partner with merchant team to collectively determine appropriate style counts and inventory buy for new and on-going products

  • Recap and review actual sales performance weekly/monthly to plan

  • Project new launch sales and inventories

  • Re-forecast sales and manage inventory for all basic styles to meet financial goals

  • Complete additional reporting and analysis as needed


  • This position requires limited travel; 0-25%

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 4 + years of merchandise planning experience

  • BA / BS degree

  • Experience in building reporting processes

  • Prior Experience working with E-commerce a plus

  • Jewelry industry knowledge a plus

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills a must

  • Able to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and departments

  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

  • Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills

  • Clear understanding of basic financial inventory measures: Sales / Turn / Sell thru Weeks on hand

  • Proficiency in Retail math

  • Demonstrated strong listening and communication skills

Description: Position Summary: The Food Service Lead Worker is responsible for the oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the food service operation such as inventory, customer service, food preparation, and food safety and sanitation procedures Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
