Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Planner/Analyst of Business Development to join our team in Franklin, TN.

This position is responsible for the development of strategic initiatives involving Nissan Americas' short-term and long-term business objectives. This position entails project management, presentations and business analytics. This position works closely across the breadth of Nissan Functions, with ongoing relationships with team members from Marketing, Product Planning, Finance, Distribution, Governance, "Reuse, Resell, Refabricate and Recycle", and Aftersales departments, amongst others.

B. Job Responsibilities

Key Job functions:

  • Strategic Initiatives: Oversee progress on the development of strategic initiative proposals including clear analysis of the issue, external influences, business case, benefits, and risks, providing additional support as necessary.

  • Research: Collaborate and research to understand key automotive trends as well as external trends that impact the future of the industry.

  • Strategic Meetings: Prepare and follow-up for regular executive strategic meetings.

  • Ad hoc Requests: Develop timely responses to various ad hoc requests from Senior Management.

Minimum Qualifications

The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.

  • Job Knowledge and Skill: Knowledge of Automotive Industry and understanding of the Product Planning process.

    Proactive and has excellent Project Management, facilitation, written and oral communication, interpersonal, and networking skills. Understanding of the US regulations preferred.

2.Years of Experience:

Experience: Five or more years of directly related professional level experience including project management experience.

3.Education

Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Engineering or a related discipline; MBA preferred

4.Specific Course/Certifications

  • Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills required - extensive use of PowerPoint and Excel.
