POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Solutions Placement Specialist is responsible for working with local employers to secure paid work opportunities externships and internships for GCT clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.The Business Solutions Placement Specialist will identify job leads and negotiate job opportunities with employers for GCT clients graduates of GCTC and Excel Center.
2.Listen to employer needs and learn about their business so you can provide a clear and concise plan of value to assist them with workforce needs.
3.Advocate on behalf of GCT target populations educating Central Texas employers on workforce opportunities.
4.The Business Solutions Placement Specialist will assess client skills and job readiness allowing for optimum placements that meet the needs of both the client and employer.
5.Effectively instruct and direct activities of the client related to employment applications interviews.
6.Performance will be monitored by the number of employers identified number of interviews secured and number of job placements made each month.
7.Maintain priority placement ratios within our four targeted populations.
8.Maintain accurate relevant and timely information on both employer and clients in the appropriate data base(s).
9.Consistently contribute to the success of departmental and organizational meeting placement objectives and success metrics.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Meets mandatory yearly training hours requirement for this position.
2.Attend staff and other organization meetings as required by Business Solutions.
3.Demonstrates ethics and complies with Corporate Compliance Program
4.Other duties as requested by the Placement Supervisor or leadership team.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Bachelors Degree of higher in a related field and a minimum of three years experience in a similar role.
2.Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
3.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4.Excellent time management.
5.Knowledge of Goodwill services and community resources including networking skills.
6.Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
7.Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a customer focus to ensure the expectations of stakeholders (e.g. persons served employers referring agencies etc.) are met.
9.Texas Drivers License liability insurance vehicle in good working condition clean driving record.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Bilingual.
2.Demonstrated knowledge skills and abilities in The Americans with Disability Act.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$17.00-$19.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications.

VIEW JOBS 10/10/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-08T00:00 Cvent has an opportunity for an Onsite Services Staffing coordinator who will help recruit, train, process documents to our Onsite Services contracting team. The Onsite Services Staffing coordinator will oversee and select staff for all Enterprise Events and Mid-Market events. This position requires a person with extremely sharp attention to detail, as we have over 75 contractors that support our Onsite events. This position will be part of Cvent's Client Services group and will report to the Senior Manager, Operations and Logistics. This role will be based in the McLean, Virginia office or the Austin, Texas office. What You Will Be Doing * Oversee the contractor and technician teams (including independent contractors and contractors managed by 3rd parties (Choose 2 Rent, Event Troops, Blue Austin Events Group, On World Rental UK, etc.). Responsibilities include: * Selecting and scheduling contractors required to support OSS events * Recruiting, screening, ensuring appropriate paperwork completed for new contractors or contractors utilized by 3rd parties * Onboarding new contractors to ensure HR and IT compliance for all Onsite Services processes and requirements, review of standards and practices for supporting events, (code of conduct, how to create an invoice, etc.) * Create and maintain a complete database of contractors to include all information needed for travel, special skill sets, what level of certification they have and any other relevant information to support their work on site. * Work with Onsite services Training manager to enhance and expound on the current Contractor Certification program to include skill testing, and refresher training -including hardware and software training. * Work with cross functional leaders to share product and company updates via a monthly newsletter to be sent to all contractors * Work closely with all Project teams to ensure they have appropriate staff * Serve as an advocate for contractors – contractors will reach out to Coordinator as a first line of questions, needs, etc. * Ensure Onsite Services staffing grids are 100% updated at all times. The grids are the "master plan" for where we place project assignments for all contractors and project managers. * Incredible attention to detail to manage relationships with over 75 contractors * Monthly reporting including contractor increases and/or attrition, contractor hours/days by contractor and by event, current certifications for all contractors. What You Need for this Position * 2+ years of on-site event delivery experience is highly desired * BA or BS is not required, but highly preferred * Require excellent Interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills * High proficiency with Excel, Power Point and Adobe. Ideally experience with Salesforce. * Must be able to quickly learn and implement new and complex ideas, relay those concepts to others, and apply appropriately and efficiently.
