Install, repair, maintain and specify parts for electrical/electronic components and electrical equipment including but not limited to motors, control panels, production equipment, monitoring equipment, security systems, utility equipment and their auxiliaries, etc. Perform all duties utilizing and in accordance with diagrams, operations manuals, schematics, codes and manufacturer's specs and safety guidelines. Apply LEAN principles and techniques effectively.
Responsible for production equipment repair and installation.
Daily maintenance of packaging and printing equipment (Paxar). Build using drawings to spec..
Repair minor leaks in plumbing; paint walls; lubricate equipment.
Make written reports.
Perform minor electrical repairs, installations and maintenance.
Repair and maintain conveyor system.
Repair and set up Hangermatic machines.
Repair and/or rebuild of pneumatic controls valves and switches.
Any other duties as specified by supervisor
Reading and writing literate.
Working mathematical knowledge; computer literate a plus.
Working knowledge of power tools and voltage meter; blue print knowledge a plus.
Working carpentry knowledge; working plumbing knowledge; electrical degree a plus.
Ability to compile and maintain safety data.
Able to pass PIT certification
