Pizza Cook

Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts, a leading leisure, travel, and tourism company, is seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team in our brand new pizza kitchen. As a Pizza Cook, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment at our beautiful beach resort.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook delicious pizza and other specialty menu items according to our recipes and specifications, and guest's requests.
• Ensure that food is prepared and presented in a timely manner.
• Adhere to sanitary and food safety standards in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Monitor inventory and inform the chef of any supply needs.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain exceptional quality and presentation of our food.
• Assist with developing new pizza recipes and menu ideas.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Pizza Cook in a high-volume establishment preferred, but we are happy to train the right person!
• In-depth knowledge of pizza dough and pizza-making techniques an advantage.
• Ability to handle and cook multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent knife skills and ability to operate kitchen equipment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay rate = $17-$20 / hour depending on experience
