Our client, an Oil & Gas services company, is actively seeking an experienced Pit Lining Supervisor. The Supervisor is responsible for managing crews and serving oil field clients in the Permian and Delaware Basin regions of Texas and southeast New Mexico. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and expertise in pit lining for frac pits, drilling/reserve pits, storage pits, and secondary containment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and work alongside crews to install liner and containment materials utilizing any necessary equipment specific to the assignments.
  • Ensure that crews understand and are focused on the proper objectives to reach targets along with ensuring that employees know expectations and overall performance measurements.
  • Ensure the highest levels of efficiency and productivity while ensuring the safety of personnel and proper care of equipment.
  • Complete necessary documentation and oversee daily testing of material and installation.
  • Ensure the correct preparation and servicing of equipment and reporting problems.
  • Effectively schedule, and manage projects to meet the customers needs and expectations.
  • Read work orders and instructions to determine work assignments and material/equipment needs.
  • Supervise and assist in all activities, including preparing and servicing equipment, laying out plastic, trenching, and welding.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
  • 2+ years experience as a Pit Lining Supervisor.

This position provides necessary planning and executing for the job, including instructions to the crew, which equipment is used, and dispute resolutions to approved levels. The Cementing Supervisor’s emphasis is on employee development, operational excellence and customer satisfaction for the long-term growth and profitability of the area. The Supervisor also acts as the primary contact between the cementing PSL and the Customer Representative at the well site. Skills are typically acquired by completion of the Competency. Typical requirements include a High School Diploma / G.E.D or applicable relevant experience. Key Accountabilities Maintains documented performance measures and results for best practices within the service line. Supervise and Coach Equipment Operators. Coordinates and assist the activities during the rigging up and down of service line equipment. At the end of each job, coordinates the cleaning of equipment in preparation for the next job. Manages processes and interfaces with the customer as well as other service providers to ensure job site execution is as designed. Follows up with the customer regarding job site performance current good details, Assess Risk and contact Supervisor if needed. Promotes and takes an active part in the Service Quality Process. Plans and performs necessary calculations for the total job at the well site as needed. Ensures customer satisfaction with work performed. Evaluates the individual performance levels of the crews and trains crews to improve their job performance. Knowledge of Post Job Paperwork Knowledge and skills on Supervision Ability to Coach employees on Blow down, Move Field Bins and Vertical Silos Ability to follow the Journey Management Process. Ability to understand Proposals, Job Design, Lab Reports. Ability to perform Cement Job Calculations, Verify Blend Sheets and complete field job paperwork Ability to read, write and speak English to the extent that they can understand verbal and written instructions as well as give verbal and written instructions in English Ability to use simple mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) to make job-related calculations. Computer skills Required Experience and Education High School Diploma / G.E.D or applicable relevant experience.
