Essential Functions:

Performs operations and maintenance activities related to pipeline, gas compressors and measurement.

  • Operates compressor station and dehydrator.

  • Maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements, (OSHA, DOT, and) document required regulatory activities.

  • Maintain and adhere to required Company trainings, Policies and Procedures

  • Operates and maintains pipeline.

  • Pigs pipelines and solves hydrate/restriction problems.

  • Maintains and operates chemical injection pumps.

  • Maintains stations and sites.

  • Assists mechanics on compressor maintenance.

  • Reads and interprets pipeline maps.

  • Locates and marks pipelines for line locates.

  • Collects gas samples when needed.

  • Complies with company safety policies.

  • Will also perform lockout/tagout procedures and monitor field compressor status through the use of SCADA

  • Attends meetings and participates in the safety program.

  • Complies with company policies concerning regulatory compliance and assists in documentation of compliance.

  • Trains and develops junior field operators.

  • Develops, promotes and maintains positive relations with pumpers and customers.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements:
Experience, Educational & Special Training Required

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in pipeline and compressors operations

  • Experienced in using line locating, probe bar, and ground penetrating radar equipment to locate underground piping and conduit

  • Proven experience using computer programs to pull one call tickets and mark ETC lines prior to 3rd party excavation

  • Knowledge to conduct pressure surveys on gathering lines and central delivery points

  • Experienced in monitor natural gas quality using sampling equipment i.e. Drager, Gastech or Sensidyne pumps and tubes

  • Proven experience using computer programs such as X Map equivalent to locate Energy Transfer underground piping.

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to respond to emergency call-outs within one hour of call

  • Must reside within a 60 mile radius of reporting location

  • On call for areas of responsibility on a rotating basis

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient computer and Microsoft office skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Experience working with pressure vessels, piping and equipment

Job Requirements:
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding environment

  • Work outside in all types of inclement weather

  • Must have a good driving record.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Ability to drive for long periods of time over a vast region and uneven terrain

Repetitively standing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and twisting for long periods of time

Climb ladders up to 25 feet

Ability to use torque wrench and hand tools (20-600 lbs. of force)

Walk on uneven terrain Work in hot/cold temperature extremes for long periods of time

VIEW JOBS 9/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-12-13T00:00 This position is in the Pipeline Department with the primary responsibility being pipeline and related facility maintenance. Secondary responsibility will be any work assigned related to any other Lucid Energy facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Performing one call line spots by marking pipelines and completing One Call requests. * Participate and successfully complete training programs, process safety management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations. * Reviews procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements. * Performs remedial and preventative maintenance and maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices inside and outside of the facilities. * Responds to operational emergencies as a required. * Performs regulatory required inspections. * Locate pipelines as needed and oversee excavations and line crossings. * Install pipeline markers and do routine inspections on ROW. * Maintain and operate corrosion control equipment. * Attend and participate in damage prevention meetings. * Dehy monitoring and maintenance. * Launch and receive pipeline pigs to clear liquids from the pipelines. * Monitor tank levels and take gauge readings. * Set up and monitor methanol injection tanks. * Clear line freezes. * Pipeline maintenance including repairing leaks, painting, greasing valves, blow down, evacuate and purging of high pressure pipelines, repair of pigs, and performance of housekeeping duties on assigned. * Assist with replacement of pumps, motors, valves, and other equipment as needed. * Start up and shut down of compressor stations. * Monitor gas quality at interstate pipeline sell points. * Record SCADA plant readings. * Complete all required documentation. * All other duties as required for efficient departmental operations. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS Regular use of complex machines and equipment (desktop/laptop computer and software, road and production machines and equipment, etc.) REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have a valid New Mexico Driver License and a clean driving record.
