Position Overview
Blue Owl is seeking a Pipeline Management - Credit & Compliance, Principal / Vice President who will be primarily responsible for managing pipeline reporting across the Blue Owl Credit ("BOC") portfolio, including associated projects and workstreams (eg: improving/automating pipeline reporting systems). This role focuses on ensuring seamless process execution across all BDC transactions. With dual reporting into the Portfolio Management and Compliance teams, we are seeking a highly organized strong communicator with significant leveraged finance experience in a project management, financial reporting, compliance, operations or similar risk management function.
Responsibilities:
Pipeline and Closing Management
Liaise across various internal groups (Portfolio Managers ("PMs"), Compliance, Deal Execution) to ensure pipeline reporting is accurate and transparent; help manage related process improvement initiatives.
Track and monitor internal legal and compliance closing processes across all deals.
Coordinate with deal teams and update stakeholders as investment terms change throughout the approval process
Ensure timely attainment and ensure best practices of internal and stakeholder approvals
Prepare weekly pipeline summary and additional materials for distribution to senior management and stakeholders
Liaise with PMs, Accounting, Deal Teams, Compliance on deal allocations, deal terms and closing process generally
Assist on internal legal and compliance diligence, and related processes
Become key stakeholder generally on closing and pipeline management on leading private credit desk
Qualifications:
8 to 12 years of experience in a leveraged loan/credit operations, transaction management or other risk management function (private credit / direct lending experience a plus)
Highly organized and able to interact directly and communicate with investment professionals
Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Strong proficiency across Microsoft Office tools
Commitment to teamwork and resourcefulness with a consensus-driven approach to problem solving
Passion for learning, ability to think critically and desire to propose new ideas and solutions
Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain relationships
Sharp written and verbal communication skills with ability to summarize complex fact sets, anticipate potential issues/client needs and follow through to ensure all deliverables are thoroughly closed out
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $165,000 to $225,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
