Primary Duties
1.Coordinates pipeline integrity activities and resources to accomplish integrity and maintenance activities and projects.
2.Monitors and ensures projects are completed safely, cost-effectively, and timely.
3.Serves as the jobsite leader for in-line inspection and maintenance pigging activities in their assigned area.
4.Facilitates contact between Engineering and Operations to ensure the timely completion of integrity and maintenance activities.
5.Performs sampling of liquids and solids recovered during pipe inspections and pigging operations to ensure accurate laboratory analysis.
6.Performs pipeline maintenance pigging and in-line inspections.
7.Provides guidance and training to operations employees engaged in integrity duties.
8.Works closely with engineers, operations, contractors, and compliance personnel to plan integrity activities.
9.Identify threats and recommend and implement measures to mitigate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
Educational/Experience Level:
High school diploma or equivalent and four years of natural gas construction and maintenance, and/or pipeline operations field experience or equivalent.
Pipeline Integrity-related technical degree is preferred.
Requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Company standards.
Communication Skills:
Requires the ability to communicate with internal/external customers to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information.
Numeric Skills:
Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and advanced to complex statistical methods.
Computer Skills:
Requires working knowledge of various software applications for data entry, reference and/or retrieval tasks.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds from the ground to 52 inches.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.
Ability to walk a distance of 500 feet.
Ability to climb a 19-inch step. (Ex: climbing in and out of vehicle).
Work Conditions:
Works as an individual contributor and/or as member of a team. Works outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to extremes of climate and temperatures, high noise levels, rough terrain, and occasional work on ladders, roofs, attics, and under houses as well as confined spaces.
May require overnight travel.
Other Requirements:
As a Safety-Sensitive position, pre and post-employment screenings, including but not limited to drug testing as outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks are required.
