Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for an onshore Pipeline Engineer, in the oil and gas industry.

U.S. Only: Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.

Responsible for the design of onshore pipeline systems and development of pipeline engineering deliverables. Duties include the engineering and design of pipeline and pipeline facilities, planning studies, project estimating, drawing reviews, coordination between engineering and field service disciplines.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Various levels available, with a minimum 3+ years of domestic, onshore pipeline project experience

  • Strong ethical standards. High level of awareness and commitment to safety in all aspects of daily work

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Highly motivated and demonstrates personal initiative

  • Adaptive and flexible to the changing needs of projects. Team player that works well with supervisors, subordinates, peers and clients

  • Knowledge of pipeline related codes and regulations

  • Strong written and verbal English language communication skills

  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite and computer applications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline

  • Engineer in Training certification or Professional Engineer license is highly desired

  • Candidates with experience with FERC regulated pipeline projects will be given preference

  • Candidates with experience with Stoner Pipeline Simulator (SPS) will be given preference
